Card details are never entered on ordepoint.org
ordepointOrtel top-up · München
how we handle your data

Security is the boring part done well.

The Ortel Mobile top-up flow at ordepoint is deliberately narrow. The form asks for a prepaid number, a value, and consent — nothing more. Card numbers, PINs, TANs and passwords are never asked here, on any page, in any language. This page spells out what we do to keep the small amount of data you share safe.

What is protected — and how

In transit

Every page and form submission travels over HTTPS with modern TLS. The connection is refused if the certificate is invalid or expired.

At rest

Request details are stored on servers hosted in the European Union, with access limited to team members who need them to reply.

Retention

Requests are kept only as long as needed to complete the top-up and to satisfy German bookkeeping rules — then deleted.

Third parties

No advertising trackers. No analytics profiling. The only outside services involved are the fonts CDN, the payment channel the sender chooses in the reply, and the operator being topped up.

Things we deliberately do not do

  • Store credit card, debit card or bank account numbers on our side.
  • Ask you for a copy of your ID document during the top-up flow.
  • Use your prepaid number for marketing communications.
  • Sell, rent or share your data with brokers or data marketplaces.
  • Publish live visitor counters, live user names, or “someone from your city just topped up” banners.

Reporting an issue

If you notice something odd — a page that looks off, an e-mail that seems to come from us but does not, or anything that touches your account — write to help@ordepoint.org or call the team in München. The full details of the ordepoint refund process are on the refund page.
